Description of Tour

Visit to one of the oldest Megalithic sites in Europe. In just a few Km radius one can find several dolmens, menhirs and cromlechs of the Neolithic period. Surrounded by a unique landscape of cork trees, the entire megalithic landscape of the region of Évora find at the cromlech of the Almendres its peak manifestation. The cromlech of the Almendres is a magical archaeological monument where recent studies have shown a strong connection to Astronomy.
