Srisailam is located about 230 Kms from Hyderabad in the dense Nallamalai Forest area on the right banks of the Krishna River. The temple of lord Siva in the form of Mallikharjuna Swamy at Srisailam is very famous all over India in terms of its sanctity as well as its historical, architectural, sculptural value and scenic beauty. This temple is considered as one of the twelve Jyothirlingas (sacred Siva temples) in India. We can see the live faith of Hindu community in this temple complex. The forest is known as Nagarjuna Sagar Srisailam Tiger Reserve which is the biggest tiger reserve in India spread in 3500 sq. kms. There are more than 60 tigers in this forest and also home to Chenchu primitive tribes who live in scattered tribal settlements. On our way to Srisailam, we travel around 80 kms in the forest area. We experience jeep ride in the tiger reserve, visit to Water Falls, Hydro Electric Dam across the Krishna River, Srisailam Temple, Akkamahadevi Caves by travelling by boat in the Krishna river etc.

1st DAY: Departure by 8. 00 AM from Hyderabad with packed lunch and arrival to Tiger Reserve by 11. 30 AM.
