Our tour runs through an old military area. While in the poor Kreuzberg 36 the workers vegetated in miserable quarters, in the chic 61, as the Berliners say the richer officers lived.
After an introduction we enjoy a curry sausage with an original Berlin herbal schnapps called Mampe half % half at Curry 36.
Now we explore backyards, explain the Gründerzeit as well as industrial history.
In a Berlin mustard manufactory we learn during a tasting what you can do with mustard.
Riehmers Hofgarten impresses with its sophisticated courtyard.
Now we climb the Kreuzberg, marvel at a waterfall and enjoy the view from the national monument on dme pedestal.
Past a real Kreuzberg vineyard we arrive at our tasting with high-quality craft beers.
Through the lively Bergamnnstraße and a beautiful Gründerzeit quarter we arrive at the Marheineke Markthalle.
Finally we have a freshly squeezed juice, French quiche to try and an espresso to finish.
