We visit the Unirea Salt Mine from Slanic - Prahova, the largest salt mine in Europe, located 208 m under the ground, having a 3 million cubic meters volume. Inside the mine you can find a small history museum, a soccer field, a children's playground. It is simply breathtaking to be walking inside the mine; there are just a few places in the world where you can admire such a huge underground structure!
Next stop - Lacerta Winery from Buzau County, the most modern winery in Romania! (Austrian investment of Eur 6 million, open 2011!); short tour of the winery; after that, you can taste some of the Premium and Super-Premium wines of the winery.
Last stop - the Muddy Volcanoes from Buzau County - the largest location with mud volcanoes in Europe!
Itinerary: Bucharest - Slanic Salt Mine (Slanic, Prahova County)- Lacerta Winery (Fintesti, Buzau County)-Muddy Volcanoes (Paclele Mari, Buzau County)-Bucharest.
