Description of Tour

This challenging snowshoe tour in the Kaisergebirge leads us from Kufstein via the Vorderkaiserfeldenhütte to the Pyramidenspitze, the highest peak of the Zahmen Kaiser. This tour can be done in one day, if necessary and desired, an overnight stay in the very well managed Vorderkaiserfeldenhütte is an option. The second day you can finish with a small summit round Naunspitze - Petersköpfl - Hinterkaiserfeldenalm.

Catering and accommodation costs (TN and mine), snowshoes and avalanche transceiver equipment (beep, shovel, probe) - can be provided if necessary for a rental fee.

Requirements

Very good condition, surefootedness and freedom from vertigo. There are 1500 meters of altitude to overcome in the ascent and descent.
