Lahemaa National Park is located approximately 80 km east of Tallinn. We will pick you up from your hotel or meet you at the cruise terminal exit for a shore excursion full of discovery.
Our first stop is Sagadi, one of the most prominent manor houses in the park. Our tour then continues to Altja, where the structures of a 19th-century farmer-fisherman's homestead are illustrated by a historic courtyard. Located along the once important Tallinn-Petersburg highway, the building exudes a unique atmosphere. The surrounding area, with its nearby beach, is ideal for a relaxing stroll.
A traditional lunch awaits you at the nearby Altja-Kõrts (German: "Tavern"). On the way back to Tallinn, we pass the coastal road from Altja via Käsmu and Võsu, offering wonderful views of the sea and its bay-filled coastline. Another stop is at the former manor house of the von Pahlen family, a Baltic German noble family, in Palmse. The manor house impresses with its meticulously detailed interior in a 19th-century ambiance and is surrounded by a well-kept and extensive park.
After another stop at a raised bog, you will finally reach Estonia's largest waterfall, Jägala Joa, before returning to Tallinn.
