Description of Tour

This morning, we offer you the opportunity to participate in a birdwatching tour on the Paljassaare peninsula, which extends outside Tallinn's city center. The local ornithological society is actively committed to protecting this bird-rich paradise close to the city. From two observation towers, you'll have excellent views of the shores of the bays, as the viewing distances are extremely short.

During a short hike, you'll not only have the opportunity to observe many bird species that are already rare in Central Europe, but you'll also learn interesting facts about the peninsula's eventful history. From the beginning of June, orchids begin to bloom, making this excursion particularly attractive for those interested in botany.

After a quick refreshment in the colorful wooden house district of Kalamaja (German: Fishermen's Meadows), you can then explore the medieval old town streets on a guided city tour.

The birdwatching tour is available from the beginning of April to the end of October and lasts approximately 3 hours.
