We start with a visit to the Roman Museum in Mainhardt. There the participants learn the basic knowledge about the history of the border of the ancient empire in southern and western Germany. On the nearby fort area there is a piece of original Roman fort wall. Next stop is a Limes reconstruction. Then the hike begins along the original Limes, which has been well preserved in the Mainhardt Forest. The end point is the most beautiful watchtower reconstruction in Baden-Württemberg near Großerlach-Grab.

The expert guided tour by a trained Limes cicerone costs 180 euros for 5 hours, regardless of the number of participants.

There is also the entrance fee to the Roman Museum. This is up to the age of 14 years 50 cents, above 1 Euro.If desired, a multi-course Roman menu can be taken on the route. Cost per participant 20 euros.
