Born in Málaga in 1881, Pablo Ruiz Picasso moved to Barcelona with his parents and siblings in 1895. Here he spends his youth and, as he himself always said, becomes a great and world-famous painter before moving on to Paris at the age of 25. From 1963 onwards, Picasso donated to the city of Barcelona most of his artworks from his childhood and youth, as well as from his early periods. Somewhat later, the many paintings that had long been kept in the Ruiz-Picassos' family home in Barcelona were also added. With this collection, the best collection in the world from Picasso's first years, over time the city of Barcelona has built the Picasso Museum, so interesting, in 4 beautiful medieval palaces in the center of the city. Here you can admire Picasso's painting art at only 14 years old, his academic paintings, his experiments in Impressionism, Expressionism, Fauvism, Modernism, etc., as well as his first personal styles, such as the famous Blue Epoch.
