Description of Tour

Monza is located  15 minutes by train from Milan. By train we'll reach this beautiful town and make a walking tour through its historical center: the medioeval churches, the riverside of river Lambro and the lion bridge, the famous Duomo with the renaissance Chapel painted by Zavattari artists showing us us the story of the Longobard queen Teodolinda: inside this chapel there's the Iron Crown, with which most of the italian kings where crowned. Suggested :  visit of the renovated Museum Serpero (with longobards jewels and renaissance objects). On request and for a full day tour  : visit of the autodrome of Monza (Grand Prix Fomel 1) .

Guide at your disposal from Milan for 3.5 hours. The guests will decide if come back to Milan after the tour with the guide or spend more time in this beautiful town. All information to come back to Milan (train time-table ) will be given by the guide.

Requirements

Confortable shoes.  The visit of the Museum and Chapel must be booked in advance but it is not possible on Monday. On Sunday it is possible according to the holy services in the church. That's Italy : a strike of public transport (train) is always possible! In this case, I'll suggest you another itineray in Milan
