Description of Tour

On the Segway through the Middle Ages - Fortress Zons

Midway between Cologne and Düsseldorf lies the old customs fortress Zons on the Rhine and is also affectionately dubbed the Rhenish Rothenburg.

Discover old-honorable romantic architecture and the history of the city of Zons and the fortress, which rests directly on the Rhine behind its well-preserved defensive wall.

Our tour guides and city guides will give you a professional Segway briefing. And after a few minutes you are ready to go.

The tour leads from the starting point, through field and forest to Zons, into medieval streets and alleys, past fortified towers, the city walls and to the windmill.

On this tour, you will learn interesting and interesting historical details, which will be conveyed to you by your tour guide, but of course the driving fun with the Segway does not come too short!

Before and after the historical city tour on our Segways, enjoy an unforgettable round trip through field, forest and Rhine meadows. Bet, Segway driving is child's play and a great experience!

Participation from 15 years with at least moped driving license accompanied by a parent!Min. weight of riders 45 to max. 120 kilos.(Not suitable for people with walking difficulties, balance disorders, epilepsies or pregnancy)Higher force: Normally our tours take place even in bad weather, true to the motto: There is no bad weather, only bad clothes! But, in case of official severe weather warnings, storm, snowfall, ice or thunderstorm, we reserve the right to cancel or abort a tour! In the case of technical defects of the Segways, which make a further journey impossible, or which endanger your security, a route can be likewise broken off, it is made up then completely, or partly at a spare date.We recommend shoes with soft sole and the weather adapted clothes! For your safety, we recommend wearing a helmet (e.g. bicycle helmet). If you do not have your own helmet, we will be happy to lend you one.The i2 is insured against liability. Damage caused by third parties despite proper use of the i2 is covered by this. The vehicles have a comprehensive insurance in the event of damage with 10%, but at least 250.- Euro deductible for the tour participant. The respective insurance conditions of the insurer apply.
