The Reuterkiez borders directly on Neukölln's neighboring district Kreuzberg and is increasingly called Kreuzkölln for this reason. It was first built up in the early 20th century with residential buildings, commercial courtyards and a mixture of both. Through the settlement of many cafes, restaurants and trendy shops, the Kiez has changed a lot.
In my guided tour, I remember the namesake Fritz Reuter, the rock'n'roller Jacky Spelter, who lived in the Reuterkiez for a long time, as well as the former Kid's Garden. In addition, I will show you the change of the area with numerous examples.
