Description of Tour

Take Shamakhi and Lahic day tour, a trip from Baku to the ancient city and the alpine picturesque village. You will have a fascinating journey where you will see ancient mosques and medieval baths, visit workshops of highly skilled craftsmen and feel yourself up with the spirit of historical Azerbaijan.

In the morning departure from your hotel in Baku to Lahic. On the way, visit Diri Baba mausoleum in Maraza village. Continue to Shamakha and have a sightseeing of historical Juma Mosque, Yeddi Gumbez Mausoleum, and the Shirvan Shah's family grave yard. Drive the Girdimanchay River’s canyon to visit Lahic, the 5th century place rich in its historic and architectural values. Lahic is mostly famous for magnificent ancient mosques and bath-houses. But it is also a place to learn more about medieval water supply and sewage systems, as well as a chance to purchase artifacts such as jewelry, copperware, carpets, pottery, daggers and iron tools in a number of traditional workshops. In the afternoon, we drive back to Baku.



  • Transportation as per itinerary in a vehicle with air-conditioning. We use passenger car (PKW) up to three guests. For more than three guests we arrange minivan or bus;
