The first stop on our journey is the cathedral and imperial city of Fritzlar. Fritzlar is considered to be the place where both the Christianization of Central and Northern Germany and the medieval German Empire began. After a tour of the cathedral and, of course, the beautiful city centre, we continue to Lake Edersee. The Edersee is one of the largest reservoirs in Germany. We walk over the 48 m high dam wall and finally enjoy the view from Waldeck Castle before we drive back to Kassel.
