On this tour of Berlin you will experience the highlights of the city. It goes through the Historic Center of Berlin, past the famous sights such as Gendarmenmarkt, Alexanderplatz, Museum Island, Berlin Cathedral and Brandenburg Gate. Memories of the divided city and the Cold War will come back to life at Checkpoint Charlie and the remains of the Wall, and at Potsdamer Platz you will be impressed by the modern metropolitan architecture. There is a lot of steel and glass to be seen in the government quarter, but a lot of greenery in the Tiergarten. In the City-West you will visit the baroque Charlottenburg Palace and then walk along the Kurfürstendamm with its noble boutiques and the world-famous Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. In the embassy district you will find out who is a long-established resident and who is a newcomer, and in the Kultforum it will once again become clear why Berlin has some things twice over. This varied tour is about the history, present and future of this constantly changing city.
