For each of us, the words "Once Upon a Time...." Bring back memories of our own childhood. With them begin many fairy tales from the collection of the Brothers Grimm, which were read and told to us or which we read and told. The Brothers Grimm became world famous through the "Children's and Household Tales". The hand copy located in Kassel has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005.
To reduce their work to the collection of fairy tales would not do them justice, they also devoted themselves intensively to the German language and are thus considered the founders of German studies. Kassel and the region of North Hesse were home to the Brothers Grimm for over 30 years. Join us on a walk through Kassel in the footsteps of the Brothers Grimm, their family and friends.
