The tour will allow you to get a first impression of Florence, to know better the cradle of the Renaissance. Our meeting point is in Piazza della Repubblica, from there we reach the Domenican church of S.M.Novella, where we visit the oldest pharmacy in Europe, where the famous Cologne water was created. Afterwards the tour leads through the medieval streets to the Florentine Cathedral Square, across the Piazza della Signoria with the imposing Palazzo Vecchio and through the courtyard of the Uffizi Gallery. The tour ends on the banks of the Arno with a beautiful view of the Ponte Vecchio. Afterwards we visit the gallery of the Uffizi, which is certainly one of the most famous painting galleries in the world. Let us take you back to the world of the Renaissance. Not only will the paintings of Cimabue, Giotto, Botticelli, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael and Titian be discussed, but you will also be introduced to the secrets of the painters' workshops, their techniques and tools. At the end of the tour you can linger in the gallery if you wish.
