The Finnish Baltic metropolis Helsinki is a reflection of the history of the origins of Finland, in which Swedish, Russian and German influences played a major role. The city tour shows you the most important sights in Helsinki: Senate Square with cathedral, Uspenski Cathedral, market square at the south harbor with presidential palace, esplanades, main train station, Oodi central library, parliament building, Kiasma, national museum, the famous rock church and a surprise building.
Without being suffocated by the dates, the dramatic stages in Finnish history and the importance of Helsinki for the emergence of the nation of Finland become visible. You will get to know German personalities and their significance for Finland. Tips for shopping, eating out and planning the evening are of course also included. Simply tell me in the request what interests you in particular.
We are environmentally friendly when traveling by tram, bus and on foot. There is therefore time to study the details of the Art Nouveau facades and enjoy the view from Senate Square in peace. You will learn a few words of Finnish and understand why the language is so difficult for us and so important for the Finnish national feeling.
Welcome! Tervetuloa Helsinkiin!
