Description of Tour

The old town of San Sebastián is without doubt the heart of the city.

It is located between Mount Urgull, the shell bay "La Concha" and the mouth of the Urumea.

It has a large number of shops, pintxo bars, restaurants and cooking clubs. At any time of the year there is something going on here: the inhabitants of the city walk here every day and end the day in one of the many pubs.

The Romantic Quarter starts at the Boulevard. After the removal of the city walls, the city was re-planned and developed in a romantic style. This quarter is still preserved in its originality and full of life. Particularly impressive are the San Sebastián Town Hall (inaugurated in 1897 as a casino), the Alderdi-Eder gardens and the spectacular views over the shell bay "la Concha".
