Description of Tour

Travel the old road which connects the Florence and Siena Chianti regions where the world-famous Chianti Classico DOCG wine is produced. From the comfort of an air-conditioned van, your English-speaking driver will take you through the beautiful and renowned Chianti landscape: dotted with castles, vineyards and wooded hills.  First stop in San Gimignano for about 1 hour to visit the smart medieval Village with the old Towers. The tour includes  also stops in scenic locales including Greve in Chianti. We conclude with a visit to a famous wine cellar where you will learn how wine is produced and aged then enjoy a light lunch of typical Tuscan fare accompanied by Chianti wine.
