Description of Tour

Our walking tour takes us to visit the “Oltrarno” or far bank of the Arno River; a district of workshops and antique dealers, little changed since the Middle Ages, that many Florentines consider the “true” Florence. At sunset the local color is evident with residents and visitors alike lounging at the many typical restaurants and bars which populate the area.
Our expert tour guide will give you a feel for the atmosphere of the neighborhood while you enjoy a glass of Chianti wine and special crostini prepared for us by a famous local wine shop. Our walk will take us back across the river to the historic center for a second wine tasting.
