Ideally, of course, we would like to include these activities in the tour price, but not everyone can afford it financially. 1. Day Highlight: South Africa - Cederberg Mountains
You travel north from Cape Town to the Cederberg Mountains. This region is perfect for outdoor activities. This first afternoon you spend time getting to know the tour truck, equipment and companions a little better.
Day 2 Highlight: Namibia - Namaqualand/ Gariep River
You travel north through Namaqualand towards the Gariep River.
Spend the evening together around the campfire and get to know your fellow companions better.
Day 3 Highlight: Gariep River/ Fish River Ganyon
Choose between a relaxing morning on the riverbank or a half-day canoe adventure. Alternatively, go for a swim, look at the many different river birds or explore the interesting and unique geographical features of the Richtersveld area. After lunch, travel north into Namibia, to the Fish River Canyon - the second largest gorge in the world.
Exempt Activities: Half-day canoe adventure on the Orange River.
4 Highlight: Namib - Naukluft Park
From the Fish River Canyon, you will drive into the remote hinterland of Namibia. You will arrive at camp in the afternoon where you will then take a walk at the smaller Sesriem Gorge. This is an excellent night to sleep under the stars, next to the fire, surrounded by the moving dunes and the silence of the desert.
Day 5 Highlight: Sossuvlei Dunes/ Namib-Naukluft Park
Today you'll need to take advantage of the cooler morning temperatures and head into the Namib-Naukkluft Park at dusk. Here you will hike up Dune 45 to gain a different perspective of this desert. You will leave the truck in the car park and then have the option of being shown around by a local expert or hiking into the desert yourself with others from the group.

Day 6/7 Highlight: Swakopmund "Dunes Lodge" (dinner only Day 7)
An exhilarating drive through the arid Namib Naukluft brings you to Walvis Bay where, if you are lucky, you will see the resident group of flamingos. Then it's on to the coastal town of Swakopmund.
You have the choice on the evening of Day 6 to either enjoy dinner at one of the local eateries or dine at the lodge. Both are at your own expense. The next day is left open for everyone to pursue their own interests, including many adventure activities:
Free activities: quad biking, sand boarding, skydiving, flying over the desert, fishing etc.
Day 8 Highlight: Spitzkoppe Bush
You leave modern life behind and head inland to the mysterious Spitzkoppe, one of the sacred sites of the San people. You will have the opportunity to climb on the boulders and rock formations. There you will camp freely for one night.
Free Activities: Guided hike with locals to the rock paintings of the San.
Day 9 Highlight: Himba Tribes
After a morning exploration, drive back inland north towards Outjo, where you will encounter the locals in this region. The next day you will meet the Himba, easily recognisable by their unique clothing. Encountering this totally different way of life is a heart-stopping experience for many people.
Day 10/11 Highlight: Etosha National Park
An early rise gets you on the road early enough to meet the Himba people. After spending some time with them you continue on to Etosha National Park and one of the most unique game viewing experiences in Africa. You will spend your days in the park searching for animals and birds and heading to the most remote waterholes for excellent photo opportunities. After your dinner, relax at some of the best-lit waterholes in the world
Day 12/13 Highlight: Northern Namibia
After an early game drive, make your way to Rundu on the Kavango River. You can enjoy the sunset on a cruise on the Kavango River, which separates Namibia and Angola. The next day visit the local Ovambo villages and school in the area.
There are many different activities you can participate in or take advantage of the time to relax by the river....

Day 14/15/16 Highlight: Botswana - Okavango Delta
Once again, an early rise! Your journey takes you from Rundu, across the Muhembo border, towards Shakawe, Botswana. If you have enough time, stop at Mahango National Park for a short game drive. Those who have opted for the Okavango Delta excursion will leave the truck and take local transport into the swamp area.
Your local guides will explain all about the climate, the various activities and tourism. If you don't go on the excursion, you can spend the next few days relaxing at the camp.

Day 17 Highlight: Namibia - Caprivi National Park Camp
Leaving the Okavango Delta behind, you return to Namibia.
After a drive through the Caprivi National Park, you camp under the stars on the banks of the Zambezi River.
Day 18 Highlight: Botswana - Chobe National Park
Your camp today is on the banks of the Chobe River. The afternoon is at your leisure. Those who wish can take a boat cruise in the famous Chobe National Park - an excellent opportunity for some of the best game viewing in Africa.
Exempt Activities: Game viewing in Chobe National Park and/or boat cruise .
Day 19 Highlight: Zimbabwe - Victoria Falls Rest Camp
You arrive at your destination, Victoria Falls, fairly early. After lunch, you can visit the Victoria Falls. The very popular sunset cruise includes dinner and drinks.
Exempt activities: sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, Victoria Falls National Park.
Day 20 Highlight: Victoria Falls trip ends
Most people spend this day white water rafting, a super experience not to be missed! Victoria Falls also offers many other fantastic activities. You can spend the last evening together with the group in one of the local restaurants and share your tour experiences and adventures.
Exempt Activities: White water rafting, bungee jump, elephant excursion, flight over the falls.
