Description of Tour

The Volcano Tour of Huella Andina invites you to experience the Andes: their characteristic mountains and their people, their nature and culture as only the longest mountain range in the world could create.

The Andes form the most important mountain range in South America. Their mountains cross seven countries over 7500km and reach almost every point in South America. Chile's Andes (4,600km) influence the shape and character of the landscape, people and environment, stretching from the northernmost to the southernmost point of Chile. The volcano Ojos de Salado is not only the highest active volcano in the world, but one of 3000 volcanoes in the Andes range, making it Chile's highest point.

Travelling from the north towards central and southern Chile, we climb the volcanoes Ojos del Salado, San Jose, Villarica and Osorno. Along their way we visit the main towns, built at the base of such impressive mountains, hike in their valleys and enjoy their special features.

As we travel in small groups, we minimize our ecological footprint in these places worth protecting. We form a community to enjoy the special features of each mountain together and learn new sides of ourselves during the trip.

Our goal is to share experiences and knowledge about the mountains with others. During each trip we live a unique Andean experience. We will take you safely, on the cutting edge of technology amp; knowledge, through this adventure and can share with you our passion for our culture and mountains!
