Description of Tour

The most spectacular gorge hike of the Canary Islands. The highlight of every hiking holiday. Between sky-high rock walls you walk through the prehistory of the island of Tenerife. Almond trees, palms, lavender, wild hibiscus, Canary dock, St. John's wort and many more, mostly endemic plants line the path. After the hike, enjoy a refreshing swim in the turquoise-blue Atlantic Ocean. A boat will take you, accompanied by dolphins, along the impressive cliffs to the port of Los Gigantes.

Requirements

Difficulty: medium↑0 m ↓600 mPure hiking time: approx. 3.5 hours, duration of the total excursion: approx. 7 hoursWe advise overweight guests not to participate.Good hiking shoes are necessary. Walking shoes can be pre-ordered for a fee of 3 euros.In case the boat cannot pick up guests at the beach on the day of the excursion due to bad weather conditions or technical problems, the hike will be to the halfway point of the gorge and back. Guests will only be refunded the amount for the boat ride in that case..
