Description of Tour

In the mid-19th century, the south of the state of Chile was recolonized on behalf of the government. European immigrants were brought to settle the present regions of Los Rios and Los Lagos.

The area in which the immigrants built cities such as Valdivia, Osorno, Puerto Varas or Puerto Montt is characterized by its countless lakes and beautiful volcanoes.
Our trip takes us from the north to the south, focusing on the climbs of the most important volcanoes of the country, passes through the most important national parks and also lets us enjoy the benefits of city or village life. It is an invitation to experience the south of Chile from a special perspective, to gain your own impression of the country from high mountains and deep valleys.

We choose the east slope to climb, as it requires more glacier hiking techniques. 1,500m of elevation gain, glacier crossing, slopes up to 60° (guide:client ratio = 1:2).
