Description of Tour

Life in southern Chile has been shaped by its proximity to nature. Volcanoes and glaciers shape the landscape, form the geography and define our way of life.

This "Volcano Tour" invites you to an experiential journey in the Lake District of Chile, to gain perspectives that only mountains can offer us. The peaks of the volcanoes, as the identity of our region, will show us the way as they also define our culture and way of life. We will not only climb their peaks, we will discover nature, people, culture and cities - shaped by the coasts, valleys and the Pacific Ocean.

Highlights: The south of Chile, Puerto Varas, climbing the volcanoes Osorno (2,652m), Calbuco (2,015m) and Casa Blanca (1.990m); Vicente Perez Rosales National Park amp; Puyehue; Llanquihue National Reserve; hot springs; rafting*, canyoning* or ziplining*; overnight in tent, mountain hut and hostal**.

*Included optional excursion, depending on tour itinerary and availability.
** Hostal in Puerto Varas.
