Day 1: We start at the riding farm and ride first to El Bosque, the neighbouring village 6 km away in the Nature Park Sierra de Grazalema. We picnic with local cheese and wine specialties at a restored water mill, which has been restored with great attention to detail and now operates again only with the water power of the little river Majaceite.
After the break we cross the river and ride across the pastures of a large cattle finca, where we have a magnificent view of the natural park. Behind the pastures Prado del Rey appears again, this time from the other side, and we leave the horses in a paddock at the hotel.
Day 2: Through fields, later following a creek bed, we ride on a meadow path between oleander, reeds, olive trees and single cork oaks towards Zahara de la Sierra, which can be seen from far away on its hilltop. After the picnic directly at the river, a small reed jungle and a steep ascent up to the town await us. The horses stay today right at an old olive oil mill from the 17th century, which we can visit, and we spend the night once again in Zahara.
Day 3: Today we follow a path with magnificent views of the reservoir before hitting the mountains again on a narrow path covered with oleander. In the afternoon we reach Grazalema , the Moorish showpiece village that gave its name to the nature park. Overnight stay in Grazalema.
