Description of Tour

For historical reasons (which will be explained during the tour) many Jews settled in the so-called Scheunenviertel from the late 17th century. On this tour you will see, among other things, the remains of the oldest Jewish cemetery in Berlin, the memorial at Koppenplatz, the former Jewish children's home, the former Jewish boys' school, the Heckman Höfe, the Hackesche Höfe, Otto Weidt's Blind Workshop, Haus Schwarzenberg, the Missing House, the New Synagogue, as well as the monument on Rosenstrasse.
