The world-famous modernist architect Antoni Gaudí, builder of, among others, the temple of the Sagrada Familia, the Park Güell or the famous houses in Barcelona La Pedrera or Casa Batlló was and remains a genius. Nevertheless, he was not the only one! There are quite a few other architects in Catalan Art Nouveau who have distinguished themselves with a variety of buildings in Barcelona and other towns in Catalonia. Many of them are definitely worth a visit. And apart from that, in many "nameless" houses in Barcelona there are interesting, often unseen details, both structural and decorative, that testify to the great importance of this artistic school in Barcelona at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century.
