Description of Tour

Enjoy the nature while crossing dense green forests amidst traces of past eruptions and the magnificent view from the summit to the surrounding countryside in connection to the Pacific Ocean.

The excursion starts at 4am at the meeting point. We will drive from there to the Llanquihue- National Reserve (at ~210m above sea level). After registering with CONAF, we will march 3-4 hours through the lush Valdiviana- virgin forest to the mountain station (at ~1,100m above sea level).
From there we will start the 2nd part of our tour, initially climbing the following 25 to 30m of rocky but gentle incline. We continue with a march of about 3 hours to the long-awaited summit, our destination at ~2,015m above sea level. There we will rest and enjoy the magnificent view of this beautiful region: Volcanoes jutting out of the green forests and the seemingly endless, deep blue of the Pacific Ocean.
We will begin our descent at approximately 1pm. Once at the reserve office, transportation will take us from the end of the excursion back to Puerto Varas.
