Description of Tour

Dinara is the highest mountain in the Croatia, located on the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina. When the weather is clear, from its top high 1831 meter, one can see the Adriatic Sea, islands of Šibenik, famous Kornati islands as well as number of Croatian and Bosnian mountains around: Velebit, Poštak, Šator, Troglav, Svilaja, Promina, etc.
The starting point is the village Glavaš at the south-east foot of the mountain, 
5 hours climbing to the top.  
Departure time: 07:00 a.m.

Equipment and staff: All equipment used is registered and certified at the EU and the UIAA standards. All customers must wear a helmet at all times while climbing. Professional guides are licensed Mountaion guides by UIAA as well as registered at Croatian mountain rescue service. Staff members speak Croatian, English, German

Altitude distance from start (in the canyon) to finish:  1300 meters Fitness level: A minimum level of fitness is required.Previous experience: Not necessary. Age: Minimum age is 8. What to bring: Backpack, hiking shoes, sun glasses, headgear, flashlight, food, drink.                  Special conditions: The operator has the right to cancel tours, without notice at their discretion depending on the weather conditions. All safety instructions from Gemma delmatica ’s staff must be adhered to.Availability: All year. In winter with the use of winter mounatineering equipment.
