Stroll through the Hamburg Harbor, along Nikolaifleet and learn about its special privileges and the origins of the harbor's birthday. See the Nikolaikirche and the popular Michel, the city's landmark.
In the Hafencity you will see the Dallmannkai, the Magellan and Marco Polo Terraces, the Unileverhaus and the Cruise Terminal. After a short break, continue towards the Elbphilharmonie, where you will board a ferry for a cruise on the Elbe . During the trip you will see old museum ships, the Rickmer Rickmers and the Cap San Diego and Hamburg's largest shipyard Blohm amp; Voss before disembarking at the Landungsbrücken again.
Climb the"Hamburger Berg"from where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the entire Hafenpromenade and of the Alter Elbtunnel. Visit the infamous St. Pauli and the Kiez and learn interesting facts about the Herbertstraße, the Große Freiheit and the Reeperbahn. Finally, enjoy in the Silbersack in a cozy round a real "Astra-Knolle" (real Hamburg beer).
Who then still has desire, strolls with the city guide a piece over the "Great Freedom" and then further to the Männerstrich, to the Heilsarmee and to the "Honka-Stube".
Note: the actual tour including breaks and the ferry ride takes about 3.5 hours. Afterwards there is still time in the cult pub Silbersack.
