The Basque Country is incredibly beautiful and has a lot to offer the visitor. Why hurry your experience and enjoyment of it? Explore its hidden corners in the company of a donkey.

Take a leisurely stroll at “donkey pace” through the rich deciduous forest of Izki Natural-Park. This is the largest expanse of oak woodland in Europe. It supports a great diversity of wild life from wild bore to Griffon vultures and is home to the largest population of woodpeckers in the Iberian Peninsula. Hidden in this dense forest are canyons, cascades and quiet glades. Donkeys go slow and steady and enable you to experience nature in a different way. Our donkey Momo, will carry your kit. A susbstantial picnic lunch comprising locally sourced, organically produced ingredients is included in this tour.

Reasonable level of fitness although we go slow and can adapt to your needs. Please note that these treks take place in hill country and follow rough tracks. You should wear good walking boots, bring a waterproof and warm cloathing appropriate to the season
