Description of Tour

Day 1: Makassar

Greeting at Makassar Hasanuddin Airport, transfer directly to Pantai Gapura Hotel.

Day 2: Makassar-Bira

After breakfast, transfer to Bira through all districts in South Makassar. This trip will take us about 6 hours. On the way, you will mӧglich take some photos and see daily activities of local people, for example: making salt, cooking glutinous rice in bamboo cane in Jeneponto district. You will also visit Tana Beru to see pinisi boat making of Bugisnese people. Late afternoon arrival and directly swim or walk along the whitewater beach. Overnight at Hotel Bira Beach.

Day 3: Bira-Sengkang

After breakfast, further departure to Sengkang via Bugisnese districts. On the way visit rubber plantation and daily activities by local resident at Tanete village. Lunch at local restaurant in Sinjai. Late afternoon arrival in Sengkang and we go directly to the river port to take boat ride to the temple lake and then visit floating houses. After sunset we return to the river port. Overnight stay at Pondok Eka hotel.

Note:if the weather is not good, we can't cross Tempe lake.

Day 4: Sengkang-Toraja

After breakfast, depart for Toraja. On the way, see silk weaving, hӧlland irrigation, groβste rice terrace and mountainous area with schӧner landscape. Stop at Bamba Puang for refreshment. Late afternoon arrival in Rantepao. Overnight at Pias Popis Toraja.

Day 5: Toraja Tour

After breakfast, take the full day tour in Toraja country. First sightseeing is traditional Dӧrfer with Tongkonan and houses and rice granaries at Ke' Te' Kesu'. Next Lemo rock tombs with the tau-tau figures of dead people. Kambira with children's graves by a very old living tree. Suaya with Kӧnig tomb and Londa with hanging tombs in the cave. Lunch at local restaurant in Rantepao. Overnight stay at Pias Popis.

Day 6: Toraja Trekking

After breakfast, we will make our trekking to Batutumonga. On the way, you will enjoy quite miraculous nature with traditional Dӧrfer and fantastic views of Rantepao, rice lawns, activities of the local Bevӧlkerungen. Lunch at local restaurant. Overnight at Pias Popis Toraja.

Day 7. Toraja-Makassar

After breakfast, return to Makassar at Hasanuddin Airport for your next destination. On the way, have lunch at Pare-Pare.
