This two and a half hour tour focuses on the area around the Reeperbahn in the entertainment district of St. Pauli. Starting within sight of the FC St. Pauli stadium, we take you to the "Sinful Mile"
Along the Reeperbahn, we first head to Spielbudenplatz and the "Dancing Towers". Out-of-towners will know the square from the live broadcasts of the Eurovision Songcontest. Just vis-á-vis you look but also to the "Erotica Boutique Bizarre".
At a leisurely pace it goes over the Spielbudenplatz. There is nothing left to see of the Esso skyscrapers and the famous petrol station of the same name. But the glittering world fortunately has a lot of perseverance. In "St. Lustig" you will see the waxworks, the theatre mile as well as the "Docks", Hamburg's largest discotheque.
Then you go to the Davidwache, probably the most famous police station in the world. The border to the Red Light and Restricted Area, to St. Liederlich, where the "girls" are standing, is noticeable.
There is no street sign on Herbertstraße, but there are blinds. Women are barred from entering. The female tour participants can look forward to the second most beautiful view over the city, after the Michel, before the look at a club with Seiden-Malerei sticks.
Suspenseful from the history and funny anecdotes you learn on the way to the cult pub "Zum Silbersack", where hardly anything has changed since 1949. You can marvel at this with an "Astra-Knolle", real Hamburg beer.
Cult is also the "Ritze", a cozy pub. How right next to it the gang wars of the "GmbH" and the "Nutella Gang" and other famous neighborhood celebrities once raged, you will learn from your city guide first hand.
Then it goes to Beatles-Platz and the Große Freiheit. There lies with the "Safari" one of two clubs in Europe, where live sex on stage may be shown.
Further stops are the "Männerstrich" and the Talstraße, where between several gay locations also the Heilsarmee has its seat.
In the Christmas time it goes at the end still to the Santa Pauli Christmas market. Here applies: Sweeter the bells never ring! Hamburg's hottest Christmas market blurs the lines between conventional Christmas and the frivolity of typical Kiez life. Santa Pauli attracts with live music on the show stage and hot angels. At one of the many cozy booths we enjoy a hot mulled wine if necessary or we take a quick look in the Strip tent.
