1. What costs do apply to the Tour Guide?

Tour Guides at Guidebooker do not pay a fixed price for using the platform, but only a commission fee on each booking. As the price you enter only your commission, and then the commission of Guidebooker is added automatically. Your credit for your bookings appears on top of the website as well as under „My Account“.

2. How do I create Tours?

After you registered and set up your profile completely, and GB approved your application, you can create tours.  The tours are checked and set online shortly after you sent them to us. You can always change the tour or set it offline. The content of the tour by the time of the booking always applies to the content of the tour to be made.

3. How does a customer book and how do I get my credit for the tour?

When customers book your tour, they pay the full price upfront to Guidebooker. The payment methods are: VISA/Mastercard, Maestro, Giropay, Paypal and Direct Debit (Sofortueberweisung in Germany). Payments from customers can only be made in the currency Euro at the moment.

After the tour is accomplished successfully, you need to give a short feedback to Guidebooker by Email. We then transfer to your account the soonest. The only payment methods for transferring the commission to the provider are bank transfer or paypal.

4. Do the bookings need to be confirmed by the Tour Guide?

Yes, the Tour Guide has to confirm the request, before the client can book, unless you offer tours with fixed times - these the client can book directly.

5. Does the availability of the tours need to be up-to-date?

Yes, because when a customer makes a direct booking and payment, the tour is sold and needs to be delivered on the booked date and time with the content of the tour. Guidebooker is not liable for false content of the tour of the tour guide, when a customer makes a complaint about the tour. The tour guide needs to inform Guidebooker and the customer immediately about any changes of the tour. The customer can then claim back the full price of the tour, if he/she disagrees with the changes made.

6. How can I set tours offline?

You can set tours offline clicking on the menu button „My Account“. However, keep in mind that booked tours need to be delivered by the Tour Guide.
