I am German and live in Finland since 2003. Since 2014 I work as an authorized city guide for Helsinki and the sea fortress Suomenlinna (Unesco World Heritage Site) on behalf of incoming agencies, travel agencies, private groups and visitors. For Marco Polo I have written a travel guide about Finland. I also maintain the German website of a Finnish travel agency. I usually spend the winter in Germany or in the warm south and work there in my second profession as a translator. Originally I studied forestry and worked in landscape planning and nature conservation. Therefore, I like to show visitors the beautiful nature of the Finnish capital on my bike tours.
