Hello, we are the Outside Team!
A competent, pedagogically trained group of 76 outdoor trainers in the field of experiential education, with broad experience in a wide variety of outdoor activities.
In addition to a permanent staff of main trainers, there are other freelancers who support us in our work.
Our head office is in Freiburg. We offer courses throughout Germany and Europe.
We apply the highest safety standards required in experiential education to our events.Our safety concept is derived from the specifications of the German Alpine Association (DAV), the European Ropes Course Association (ERCA) and the Municipal Accident Insurance (GUV).All actions are standardised and laid down in Outside`s safety manual. Staff must have additional experiential education training that covers our activities. Every new employee is trained in our safety standards. In addition, all staff take a re-assessment of safety before each season. After completing our additional training, all new coaches must go through a trainee phase as co-trainers. Only after completing another exam are Outside staff allowed to lead experiential education courses. All staff members must have a first aid certificate that is no older than two years and must have the lifeguard silver certificate for water activities.
