Description of Tour
Giant Mountains - the highest and most beautiful mountain range in Sudetes. In the Prussian times the Schneekoppe (1602m n.m) was the highest peak in the Hohenzollern state. Since century it is the most popular destination of tourists who want to admire a beautiful view from the top. Nowadays the area of Krkonoše is protected as a national park.
PROGRAM
Day 1
- Meeting point in Görlitz main railway station at 7 a.m.
- Sightseeing of Hirschberg - a historical town in the heart of the largest valley of the Sudetes
- Short walk through Schreiberhau (Szklarska Poręba)
- Start of hiking in the Krkonoše (u.a. Zackelfall-the largest waterfall in Polish Sudetes
- Overnight in one of the climatic mountain huts
2. Day
- Hiking over the highest peaks of the Krkonoše mountains
- On our hiking route among others:
-The source of Elba
-postglacial landscape with fabulous cirque lakes
-Snow pits
- Overnight in one of the climatic mountain huts
3. Day
- Climbing the crown of Krkonoše - Schneekoppe 1602m
- Recreation in the most famous mining hut - small Teichbaude
- Return to civilization
- Walk through Krummhübel (Karpacz). Visit the Stave Church Wang-a Norwegian accent at the foot of Risen Mountains
- Transfer to Gorlitz
