Description of Tour
A walk through the 300-year-old French Quarter covering downriver and upriver near the Mississippi with stops at historic buildings, landmarks and sites that tell the fascinating story of Nouvelle Orleans. I focus on the people who lived in this city and left their mark, such as French aristocrat and governor Bienville, the Ursuline nuns, free people of color, voodoo queen Marie Laveau and masterful banjo and guitar player Danny Barker.
Requirements
