Description of Tour
Traces of the city from the 17th century. We begin with the time of the 30 Years' War. The time when Hamburg redefined its outer borders to make room for all the people fleeing the Inquisition in Spain and Portugal or simply looking for work in the up-and-coming trading city. The living conditions in the corridor districts were a breeding ground for disease and resistance. What has become of it today?
