Description of Tour
Be awed by the masterful Manueline architecture - a special Portuguese form of late Gothic - of Jerome Monastery, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit to the Jerome Church.
At the Discovery Monument, we will learn of the heyday of the Portuguese maritime and trading empire. Along the river, we will reach the Torre de Belém, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In the Fábrica des Pastéis de Belém, founded in 1837, we will taste the delicious puff pastries that originated here and are still baked in the old ovens and served sprinkled with cinnamon and dextrose.
