About me
I am a state-certified tourist guide in Granada. My licence allows me to guide my guests in the area of the UNESCO monuments: the Alhambra, the Generalife and the Albaicin district. I am also happy to offer guided tours of the old town of Granada, including visits to the Cathedral, the Royal Chapel and the Carthusian Monastery. My working languages are German, Russian and Spanish.
European with Russian origin , German passport and Spanish residence. I was born in Russia, but was soon drawn to Germany. After successfully completing my studies in languages, literature and arts at the University of Konstanz, I moved to Granada in Spain. Here I taught languages at the private College of Tourism. But soon my interest turned to the most visited monument in Spain, the palace city of Alhambra. The history of Granada as a melting pot of different cultures, religions and peoples also reflects my personal history in a certain sense. The interest in sharing this knowledge with others soon led me to a new field of activity in the tourism industry. I passed the state examination in Andalusia and for some years now I have been working full time as a tourist guide. After many years of guiding, I am still fascinated by how the Moorish craftsmen managed to combine their mathematical knowledge and the art of poetry in an architectural masterpiece.
