My name is Manuela and I am a professional licensed tour guide in Mantua (It. Mantova), Ferrara, Bologna. I was born in the middle of the Po Valley on the border between the regions of Lombardy and Emilia Romagna, and it was natural for me to become a tour guide in both regions. I am a mixture of both cultures, I get along with the Lombard pragmatism and the Emilian jovial and open-minded lifestyle. But from both cultures, above all, I have taken the best: Culture, history, art and ... why not ... good food and wines! I love to show people the best that these cities and their provinces have to offer. Just follow me and you will discover not only beautiful squares and buildings, but also lesser known corners of the city and the reason why this area is called the Italian Food Valley. I love to enjoy the amazement of my guests while I talk about art and history, to look into their open mouths, to see their surprised eyes and hear their exciting comments and, last but not least, ... their joy of looking, smelling and tasting typical products. MantovaLicensed tour guides for Mantua, Bologna, Ferrara, Modena and Parma. I organize all kinds of tours in Italian, English, German, Spanish and French, from walking city centre walking tours up to food and wine tours for all kinds of tourists. In the area where I work there are 5 Unesco heritage sites and there is the possibility to taste some of the most well-known worldwide products like Parmesan cheese, Parma ham and Balsamic vinegar. People can also discover how these products are produced and, at the same time admire, lots of art masterpieces.
I have got a Degree in Modern Languages, Cultural Mediator and International Relations at the Universities of Bologna and Florence.
I worked in some marketing staffs in Italy and abroad and I have been working as a guide in Mantua - Mantova since 2002, in Ferrara since 2003, in Modena since 2005, in Bologna, Parma and the entire Emilia Romagna Region since 2011.
