About me

I am Gaia, a fully licensed Tour Guide of Florence and the surrounding province.I grew up in a small village enclosed by the iconic rolling Tuscan hills, but just a stone´s throw away from Florence as well as lovely top hill hamlets such as Vinci, hometown of the great genius Leonardo da Vinci. Tuscany is my love, and, after many years abroad, I returned here to start my business. It goes without saying that I am passionate about Renaissance art, but as a proper country girl at heart, I love good food and wine, which you can find here in abundance!
I organise tours for newcomers as well as returning tourists. My services include orientation walking tours of the town of Florence, visits to Florentine museums (The Uffizi, Palazzo Pitti, and The Academia which houses Michelangelo’s David, just to mention a few), thematic tours (including a tour dedicated to the mighty Medici family, always a favourite amongst my clients), Chianti wine tours, truffle hunting, food tasting experiences, and cruise shore excursions from ports.  Whatever you are interested in, I will tailor my tour for you and with you: your total satisfaction is my mission!In addition, I can arrange transport for you, including pick ups from hotels, villas, ports and airports. Come and enjoy the marvels of this land!
