Description of Tour

Day 1, Upon your arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by Ronald the Guide. Having passed immigration and luggage collection please exit the arrival hall and look out for the guide who will transfer you to the hotel.

Day 2, Depart for Murchison Falls National Park arriving in the afternoon. The drive will take 5-6 hours, taking a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary (Rhino trekking) lunch at the sanctuary, a drive through Masindi town to Budongo Forest where we will be welcomed by Baboons, From here we will continue on, viewing hippos, elephants, buffalos and other animals along the river banks.

Day 3, Game viewing & Boat ride to the bottom of Murchison Falls Ready for a dawn game drive after an early cup of African coffee, bird watching and sightseeing across the open savannah dotted woodland and River line vegetation along the Nile and Albert delta. Here expect to meet elephants, giraffes, buffalos, lions, leopards, waterbuck and a countless population birds, return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, a three hour boat trip along the Nile gives you assured chance to see the falls from the bottom angle, visit the top of the Murchison falls, Here, the Nile River is forced through a narrow gap in the rock before plunging 140 feet down. Hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and aquatic birds can be seen along the shores of the River.

Day 4, Drive to Queen Elizabeth National park through the foot hills of the Rwenzori Mountains. Early morning Breakfast and Lunch en-route in Kyenjojo Town. We shall drive along Lake Albert Escarpment to Hoima town. The route takes us through villages and Farm lands of Hoima, Kibale and Tea estates in Kyenjojo are parts of the East African Rift valley. To Kasese town where we shall have sight seeing and a stop over at the Equator and game drive through the Queen Elizabeth's craters for scenic viewing.

Day 5, An early morning game drive provides an excellent platform to see Queen Elizabeth's large variety and volume of wildlife. This drive will be in the Kasenyi area of the park. In the afternoon, we enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes through a high concentration of hippos, buffalo, elephants, crocodiles and water birds, for fantastic photo opportunities.

Day 6, This morning, we will have a morning game drive to the climbing LIONS and lots of animals there after lunch, leave for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to the few remaining mountain gorillas. Bird life and primate life in Bwindi is quite superb, and there is an incredible variety of flora. Once continuous with the forests of the Virunga Volcanoes Bwindi is now an ecological island, surrounded by cultivation on the rich volcanic soils. The journey will take us through scenes of Rwenzori mountain, Queen Elizabeth national park and the Ishasha sector for tree climbing lions.

Day 7, Gorilla trekking We head to the park headquarters for a briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Authority before setting off to the forest see the gorillas. The ranger guides will take you through the forest to track gorillas, which can take from half an hour to five hours. A reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as a sturdy pair of walking shoes. If you have the afternoon free, you will take a guided village walk to see how the Ugandans live.

Day 8, After an early breakfast, you back to Kampala. The drive will take you through farmlands of the Ankole long horned cows and different cultures and people having Lunch at Igongwa cultural centre and arrive in the evening.
