Three-hour tour
The town of Cividale is beautifully located in the near the Slovenian border, surrounded by hilly countryside. The small village is rich in history and has been on the Unesco World Heritage List since 2011, as there is much evidence of beautiful artwork from the Longobard period. The river Natisone flows through the town.
You can sit on a terrace in Cividale and eat typical Friulian dishes in one of the many restaurants. Cividale also has a wide range of nice little boutiques for shopping.
During the guided tour we will visit dthe most important and interesting artistic monuments and testimonies from the Longobard period, from the 8th century, but also beautiful squares, alleys, the Cathedral and the Devil's Bridge.
