Description of Tour

After depart at 9:00 AM from Morelia (departs from San Miguel Allende & Patzcuaro available), the scenic drive takes us trough corn & winter wheat valleys; the lake shore of the 3rd largest lake of Mexico (Cuitzeo), which is a winter paradise for ducks and birds from north america, and on the way up to the pine tree mountains to reach 3000 meters above sea level. The further we hike in the woods, the more monarchs we can see, flying between trees and, sometimes around people!
